Pickleball Weymouth Club (WPC) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. By completing one of our membership forms, you have given consent for the club to hold the personal data you have provided. The owners of the club are the Data Controller and is responsible for storing and otherwise processing that data in a fair, lawful, secure and transparent way.

Why we need your Data

WPC need to know your personal data to provide you with on-going organisational updates, funding information and analysis services in line with the club’s membership. WPC will not collect any personal data from you that is not necessary for the running of the club.

How do WPC protect your Data?

To protect your personal information, WPC will take whatever precautions they can and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Personal data collected and used by the club will be stored on, or accessed via passworded computers and these may be backed up securely to a local device or to the cloud. Any memory sticks or paper-based records containing personal data will be kept as safely as possible.

How long does WPC hold your personal data?

WPC will hold your personal data on file for as long as you remain a member of the club.

What are your Rights?

As a data subject you have the right at any time to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data. This can be done by notifying any committee member by any available means.
